NIBRISRECORDS

This is one of the deepest songs I've ever made, everything I describe from the production or the song writing, makes sense to me.

The Henna on my back is a representation of my own story, something that's written on me that I carry, but might not always see, it’s a strong metaphor for feeling disconnected yet marked by human experiences.

I chose the mask because I didn’t wanna show my face fully for this one, the mask adds another layer, it’s like a self defense mechanism, a way to exist in the world without fully being “seen”. And the way I’m positioned, just there, smoking, unaware of the spectator really embodies the numb detachment that I was looking for. It’s almost like the viewer is intruding on a private moment, which makes the whole image feel even more raw

The idea of being physically present, but mentally/emotionally disconnected is something that has always intrigued me, and especially the paradox of existing, but not feeling, of living in a body, but not fully engaging with life, It's something that many people experience, but don’t always have the words for, and I hope I chose the right words for the spectator.

The EP theme of identity crisis and alienation fits perfectly with this image.

The dark, intimate, yet slightly surreal energy of the cover mirrors, that internal struggle.

This ties into the concept of the song and the upcoming project “numb forever“.

I'ts something a lot of people can relate to, especially in a world where we’re often encouraged to chase a purpose, even if it doesn’t align with what we truly feel.

I don’t need to overexplain it even if someone doesn’t fully understand the symbolism at first, they’ll feel it, and that’s what makes art hit deeper.
